Company Profile
MARIPLAST was born in 1969 and 30 years later, we are still specializing in the same field of production: plastic yarn carriers. Today the range of Mariplast products includes approximately 900 items, designed for all yarn processing phases: preparation for spinning, spinning (ring, open-end, self-acting), twisting, winding and package dyeing. Package dyeing solutions over recent years, the Mariplast range has been enriched by several highly innovative, patented products designed especially for the requirements of package dyeing, a rapidly developing field. The philosophy which characterizes the new systems is attempting to combine the best dyeing results with maximum simplicity in using the yarn carrier.
The latest generation of products have been planned, designed and tested in collaboration with high-level machinery manufacturers and users, and have proved revolutionary - in terms of results and costs - with respect to traditional yarn carriers, to such an extent that they have merited the definition of "advanced" systems.
Products Description
Mariplast manufacture wide range of yarn carriers-- Roving/Rubbing bobbins, Ring Frame tubes, parallel tubes, cones of different conicity, in different weights and material compositions-- Polypropylene (PP), PP + Glass Fibre and Polycarbonate,Polyamide, Polyamide+ Glass Fibres, ABS etc Mariplast yarn carriers are available in a wide range of (24) colours for easy identification of yarns/counts.
RANGE OF DYE TUBES
1. Cyndrical Re-Usable Dye Tubes
Mariplast's Rigid Cylindrical Re-Usable Dye Tubes are preferred choice of dye houses over steel springs due to its many advantages.
- Largest package weights is possible, less material and labour
- Good flow properties of the dye liquor and so uniform dyeing
- No spacers needed unless non stacking style is used
- Consistent package density
- Stable columns of packages
- Transfer tail can be protected
- Direct use after dyeing is possible
- Packages easily pre-wound on most equipment in the industry
- No need of cotton knitted sleeves used for steel springs
Mariplast produce interlocking (stackable) or of non stackable dye tubes, suitable for almost wide range of yarn Dyeing machines and adaptable
on various winding machines. The Dye Tubes are of 100% Polypropylene (PP) or with blend of PP + Fibreglass. (FC stands for Fibreglass - for eg.
FC4 wherein 4 stands for 40% Fibreglass and balance 60 % material will be Polypropylene). To withstand dyeing temp. upto 140 Celsius. The Fibreglass
content can be 0, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 or 40 % depending on dyeing temperature - upto 140 Celsius and chemicals used in the process. With varying percentage
of Fibreglass content, weight of the dye tube increases but the remain same.
2. "MARIPRESS" Re-usable Dye Tubes
Self-stacking yarn carrier tube. Quality and productivity in yarn package dyeing.
- Possibility to compress yarn from 0 up to 40% thanks to different penetration paths (from 20 mm. to 60 mm.).
- Improves dye quality reduces dye costs, and increases productivity (up to 40%) compared to traditional yarn carriers.
- The ribless surface (Maripress Unix type) can be adapted on any type of textile machinery, including Open End spinning systems.
- The inside structure with no compulsory orientation, allows the utmost freedom in the package nesting stage, making it ideal for all types of automated loading systems.
- The Colombo version has a special reduction design for small dye spindles, while still providing larger take-up diameter packages, cylindrical like packages are obtained on machinery equipped to run traditional dye cones (420' - 557' and others) simply by adjusting the angle of carrier arm.
- The result is a compact, even, cylindrical column formed in less time and at a lower costs.
- Maripress can be manifactured in different plastic raw materials and weights. Starting from PP material, moving up to reinforced and special resins to produce tubes for inside use while maintaining good resistance at high temperatures.
- More that 250 different types to suit every requirement.
- The dyeing column may be completed with a cover cap, available in various heights and diameters.
3. "FLEXBRAVO" One -time use dye tubes for shrinkable yarns
Radially/axially shrinking yarn carrier tube for steaming and dyeing.
- Flex-BRAVO is an expendable tube aimed at the requirements of steaming and dyeing of all types of yarns and it is particularly recommended for continuous yarns with shrinkage (polyester, polyamide, etc.)
- Flex-BRAVO eliminates two winding procedures: yarn steaming prior to package dyeing is no longer necessary as the same result is obtained simultaneously during the dyeing operation. The dyed package can then go straight to the next process, avoiding final backwinding.
- The structure is designed to allow uniform radial shrinkage along the length of the tube, permitting yarn relaxation next to the wall of the tube. Optimal distribution of the dye bath gives an even, level dyeing inside, middle and outside of the yarn package.
- Flex-BRAVO provides successful "transfer-tail" operation.
- Flex-BRAVO, other than the possibility of allowing a radial shrinkage up to abt. 15%, also allows an axial compression, up to abt. 5%, that can accur in two ways:
- By a slight compression of the column of tubes in order to equate the length of the package columns to the length of the dye spindles.
- Directly throughout the dye procedure, particularly on those dye spindles with a fixed or gravitational locking system, where the Flex-BRAVO tube compensates itself axially during the phase of column elongation.
- The ends of Flex-BRAVO tube remain unchanged after radial and axial retraction.
- Package density can be increased up to 30% compared to an axial compressible dye tube, whilst keeping the same outside diameter of the package, as well as dyeing productivity.
4. "FLEX-Dia" One -time use dye tubes
Radially shrinking yarn carrier for steaming and dyeing.
- FLEX-Dia is an expendable tube aimed at the requirements of steaming and dyeing of shrinking yarns.
- The use of FLEX-Dia is recommended for processing many fibres, i.e. Nylon and Polyester, Silk and Silk blends, Plyester and Cotton blends, sewing yarns, core-yarns, etc.
- FLEX-Dia eliminates two winding procedures. Yarn steaming prior to package dyeing is no longer necessary as the same results is obtained simultaneously during the dyeing operations. The dyed package can then go straight to the next process, avoiding final backwinding.
- The structure is designed as to allow uniform radial shrinkage along the length of the tube, permitting the yarn next to the wall of the tube an area in which to relax.
- Optimal distribution of dye baths gives an even, level dyeing inside, middle and outside of the yarn package.
- Tube length, top ID and base ID remain unchanged after rectraction.
- FLEX-Dia provides successfull "transfer-tail" operation.
- Many sizes are available, with retractions levels up to 30%.
- Package density can be increased up to 30% compared to a traditional dye tube, keeping the same package diameter.
- Dyeing productivity is similar to that of plastic dye springs, but without the compression of yarn.
5. "MARIFLEX" One Time use Dye tubes
Compressible yarn carrier tube For Productivity and flexibilty of yarn package dyeing.
- Expandable type.
- Possibility to compress from 0 up to 30% guaranteeing the utmost flexibility of use.
- The light but firm structure allows for even distribution of the dye in all positions and keeps the carrier perfectly cylindrical in shape, even after compression and dyeing.
- Successful "transfer-tail" operation.
- Length from 170 to 290 mm.
- ID at base from 45 to 78 mm.
- ID at top from 33 to 70 mm.
- The dyeing column may be completed with a cover cap, available in various heights and diameters.
6. "ARMOL" One Time use Dye tubes for filament yarns
Compressible tube for dyeing. Controlled axial compression system. Amol-Patented Tube. This tube has been produced to meet all requirements as a result of the new dyeing process "in compression" of yarn (PES and PAM).
The main characteristics are:
- During the winding of the yarn the tube doesn't change any dimension.
- Controlled compression.
- Uniform density of the yarn.
- Regular flow of the dye liquor.
- Complete unwinding of the dyed yarn.
- Armol tube avoids the use of an additional winding operation.
